I better get a move on!

It is December already and I've hardly even started my Christmas Cards! My first attempt is shown below. I decided to give it a try after seeing one of the LaLa Land group members post a card with a Christmas tree made in this way using the LaLa Land Filigree Corner die (http://www.lalalandcrafts.com/DIES_c27.htm). I am quite happy with the way it turned out and it only took 16 pieces to make it!

The card below is one I made for a friend of mine that was attending a 30th "Red Carpet" Birthday. She asked me to put a card together for her and this is the result! The image is by Krista at Saturated Canary (http://saturated-canary.myshopify.com/) - Krista is truly talented!!
The image was coloured with Copics. I also made a small box to go with it but unfortunately didn't take a picture. The box was in the same colours as the card with a matching ribbon and flower. My friend was very pleased :)

The next two cards were made using Magnolia stamps (they are soo cute!!). I picked orange and purple - (pretty daring for me!) -  but  I think they turned out quite well!

Hope you enjoyed having a look at what  have been up to - have a great day!!
Cheers,
Marina

It has been a while.......

It has been a while since I posted on my blog + I had issues with posting from my iPad so I think it is time to update!!
Below are two more of my LaLa Land images that I had recently coloured and made into cards.
Mermaid Marci was made into a card after attending a card making class at Seriously Scrapbooking that used the beautiful K&Co papers.

I just LOVE Koala Marci!! So when my daughter was heading off to Japan, I thought it would be a great image to use on a thank you card for her host family!  It took me a while to finish the card so
we may need to send it in the mail...lol

LaLa Land Crafts Group Challenge and More!

I created this card for the fun challenge Irina set for the ladies in our Facebook group. We had to use a dot technique to colour our images. It was a lot of fun; I had never tried this before but will certainly use it in the future!

I seem to be in a monochrome mood!!! Here are another couple of cards made recently:
